AMR Welcomes New Employees

American Mine Research is excited to welcome four new employees to the AMR Team!

 Chad Holt was welcomed to the AMR Engineering Department in July 2012.  Chad graduated from Bluefield State College in May 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrial Engineering Technology.  Chad was a member of Phi Kappa Gamma and named to the President’s list.  Chad was also a member of the Robotics Team at Bluefield State College.

Gary Sergent comes to AMR after a 13 year career with Pyott-Boone Electronics. In that time he held several positions including marketing, international and domestic business development and is most known for his project management of wireless communications and tracking following the Miner Act of 2006. Gary started in the coal industry working at CONSOL’s Buchanan mine during college and has over 18 years of experience working with underground mining and tunneling operations.  Sergent holds a B.S.E.T. in Electrical Engineering from Bluefield State College and resides in Tazewell, Virginia with his wife and three children.
