AMR would like to welcome a new addition to the Engineering Department. Joe Davidson joined AMR in August 2010. Joe attended Rocky Gap High School and graduated in 1984. He then served an enlistment in the US Army, and his advanced training was at the US Army Engineer School at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where he graduated with honors. After completing his term of service, he attended Wytheville Community College, where he received an Arts of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design, and then attended UNC-Charlotte, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He then worked a 15-year period with Law Engineering in Charlotte, where he performed testing, inspection, and mechanical engineering.

In 2005, he took a break from engineering and taught public school for one year in the Henry County, Virginia system. He taught seventh grade history and social studies. He then moved to Roanoke, Virginia, where he worked for ACS Design LLC for two years doing civil engineering and land development design. In 2008, he went to work at Virginia Transformer Corporation, where he worked in quality control until 2010, when he relocated to Rocky Gap.

AMR is proud to welcome Joe to the AMR Team!
